Advice - don't accept an 11:00 AM appointment here on Tuesdays as they don't open the doors until 11:00 AM. The doctor is great when you get to see him but scheduling never goes smoothly.
Late arrival of glasses
Ordered glasses from JCPenney optical. Took 6 weeks to get them.
I was told 7-10 days. Went in to JCPenney optical and they had arrived. I was pleased with the product.
I was going in to cancel the order. I was pleasantly surprised, when they had arrived!
User's recommendation: Be more specific to clerk as to arrival date of product.

Issue w my original set of glasses made, had order redone and which was lost and order having to be resubmitted. Also have an additional pair that still needs to be adjusted.

I just got my glasses back and Im not happy with them this has been going on since nov . I bought 2 pairs of glasses the other pair is getting fixed I think I just want my money back and go somewhere else

I would not recommend this company at all..We've had nothing but issues with them, we went for my glasses and waited over the 10 days for one pair..(one pair came early) the 2 pair we waited for came in without the progressive part needed to read so they had to go back and we waited 3 weeks (this was October)my other pair had to go in for the antiglare. I added it on after..jcpenny had to prove I paid then they canceled my whole order and had to redo them which took more time.
In the meantime thinking it was just a rough time...we went for another 2 pair (the beginning of Nov and still waiting my other pair) almost 4 weeks later, jcpenny said they were ready for pick-up, we get there and the whole script was wrong on both of his pair they ++ the glasses instead of --.. this was the Tues after Thanksgiving November (2021) that they went back to them to be fixed, I called 2 weeks later and they said my other pair (finally) and one of his, were ready, I go to pick them up and they sent his with only one lense..yes one lense, I have a photo..so they put a lens from at the location in it until the ones come in with 2 lenses .and that his other ones will be in "soon " we didn't get these glasses until January 11, 2022

Awful Service
Brief eye exam resulted in wrong prescription at Meadows Mall, Las Vegas. I was told I had 30 days to return if unhappy with glasses.
I decided metal glasses were too heavy and I couldn't read with them. Returned within 30 days, after excellent service at Vision Works. Was told, no you had 24 hours to return, now only entitled to replacement. 24 hours!!
After being told I had 30 days, went ahead and bought from Vision Works, now I'm out almost $500. When asked about their policy on the receipt, was told I received it in an e-mail. WHY would I purchase elsewhere if I thought I could not return and get a refund under any circumstances? Vision Works has a 100-day policy, with their Love What You See Guarantee.
After 30 years of JCP credit card, I'll be canceling that. I think they are collapsing overall anyway, so sad. I see why. Don't ever fall for the 60% off coupon like I did....
never again. I'm sick over this.....

Very expensive. Were not willing to exchange pair of glasses within two weeks after purchased.
Wanted me to pay for the exchange for additional modifications.
New glasses didn't help much with vision. All an excuse just to make more money and not care about customer satisfaction or well-ebing.

My husband and I went so that he could get his glasses either refilled (wanted to use the frame again if possible) or get new glasses. Though it was 30 mins before closing, the lady who was there was super kind to not only stay and assist us but also assisted 2 other clients as well though it was after closing time.
She was super helpful, funny, and just an overall great person. She made us feel comfortable and was not pushy or rushing us to make decisions on our selections. She made sure when knew about the warranty as well.
Thanks so much to her assistance with our process. I am excited to go back for my own glasses in the near future.
Preferred solution: For her to get recognition for her outstanding customer service. She is amazing and I really feel she goes up and beyond to assist her customers.
User's recommendation: Make sure to be kind to though you come in contact with, you never know how their day was going.
Not satisfied
Anti-glare and Anti-scratch coating came off.
The man who helped me was great just the glasses were terrible.
I wont go back.

2 women working in the optical dept., first completely ignored my husband who needed to look at glasses. He was the only one there at the time.
Then another customer lady came in to the optical dept. And one of them immediately waited on her!! She had the nerve to yell at him when he went to sit down on a chair that she said she hadn't sanitized yet.
Not his fault, she was too busy doing nothing to get it done! This is part of the complaint!don't

Had the exam there, ordered glasses came in wrong, sent back, again came back wrong. Had new exam stated a mistake was made, ordered again.
Explained I was leaving on a 7 week vacation in 3 days and needed a refund. NO REFUND.
They would reorder them again, I had to cancel my vacation. They could send them to me, but didn't have a great deal of confidence they would be right, will NEVER go here again

My Insurance was only partially accepted
The Optician at the St. Peters store told me they accepted Eyemed insurance so I went ahead and purchased 2 pairs of glasses.
After I filed the claim Eyemed advised Penny's was out of network and only paid a small amount for the glasses. I won't be back to Penny's

Haven't received my glasses ordered 12-7-20
They dont know what happened why its taking so long to get my glasses

Never ever go here for glasses. Great eye Doctor. Awful staff.
Husband and went to get our glasses. Took way too long then no one ever answers the phone.
Then added the insurance to our bill without asking. Then my glasses broke. Went to get fixed, and they take glasses and afterwards they say there is a $24.00 co -pay.
WHAT? Anyway do not waste your time

Can I still return uncomfortable glasses
My eye glasses have a wide side, which is hard to make adjustments and is uncomfortable after 6-7 hours of wear. I bought a cushion to help with the uncomfortableness.
Still hard to make it completely comfortable. Especially with me only having one eye to see, and MUST wear eye glasses all day. I find myself leaning to my other pair of glasses more, due to being a lot more comfortable. Me Paying a lot of money for both glasses , which I bought at the same time.
I should be able to enjoy both glasses in case If breakage or need repairing. I no longer have a second pair to lean to, with full comfort.

You can't use any dish soap on the lenses including dawn, no Windex,! facials oils will break down the coating which will 100 percent be visible after 2 years. Don't press hard on the lens when you wipe even with a cloth if it's dirty has any micro particles at all, over time will absolutely destroy your lens.
