This time was the worst service that I have received from this Optical; years before I never had any problems always being on time, but this year, unfortunately, my order made a month ago is not here yet and when I call is always the same smiling answer "Oh here said it was shipped almost 2 weeks ago but is not here yet"

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at JCPenney Optical, assisted by Betty. The quality of the glasses I received was abysmal. I have always ordered from America's Best and never had any issues, but this time I decided to purchase two pairs of progressive glasses from JCPenney Optical. Unfortunately, both pairs were of poor quality with badly centered lenses and small focal points, making it impossible to move my head without losing vision.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, JCPenney Optical refused to provide a refund or store credit. I made five trips to their store to claim the glasses were made incorrectly, and each time they falsely claimed they sent them to the lab. After five months of back and forth, I received the glasses back in the same poor condition. This clearly indicates that their quality is simply unacceptable.
Do not waste your money buying glasses from JCPenney Optical. I deeply regret switching from America's Best, which truly lives up to its name in terms of both price and quality. Additionally, Betty exhibited deplorable business and customer service practices. She had the bad manner of hanging up on calls and not answering calls based on caller ID. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and further highlights the lack of professionalism at JCPenney Optical.

El 14 de junio de 2024, sometí una orden para un par de lentes, incluía uno regular y otros de sol. La mujer que atiende allí me dijo que tardarían dos semanas en llegar.
Tengo una semana de estar hablando y me dicen que hoy y que mañana, y nunca llegaron. Estoy demasiado molesta y no puedo hacer nada. No cometan el mismo error que yo, no vuelvan a comprar en JCPenney Óptica. Hoy es 7/11/2024, la empleada me dice que ella se refería a dos semanas hábiles.
Le dije: 'Nunca mencionaste eso, solo dijiste dos semanas', así que ahora dice que tengo que esperar que de aquí al lunes deben de llegar, osea 7/15. Ella solo se disculpa, eso a mí no me sirve y, obviamente, dice que no puedo cancelar.

Resolved: I have bought 4 pairs of eyeglasses and everyone has started to crack.
Four pairs of glasses that aren't even two years old have hairline cracks starting in every one of them. They replaced lenses in two pairs and not even a month later, they are already showing hairline cracks. They need to replace the lenses or switch to a company that has quality lenses.

I have been a JCPenney optical customer for over 20 years this is ridiculous.The nice lady in the optical department has repeatedly tried to locate my contact lenses.The only answer she gets is soon.WHAT!!

I am 74 years old. I have been wearing contacts for years.
I have always had trouble seeing because of an injury to my left eye. When I saw DR Wolff at JC Pennys Optical, I could see clear. He has been the only Doctor to give me clear vision.
He is smart, professional, and affordable. I had to let people know.

Use a glass company that provides quality eyewear. Whom ever they're using isn't doing a good job. Defective eyewear.

I Bought a pair of glasses that I really liked
My glasses broke once, then the right side arm fell off. I thought it was a screw, but I don't think so.

Made an appointment for my eye exam and was warmly welcomed in by the friendly staff of the JC Penny Optical department at the Tucson Mall in Az. Dr.
Dourdian is very nice and knowledgeable. The 2 workers; Margo and Dante were a great team and were helpful and professional.

Rude and unreasonable associates
Basically I purchased a pair of glasses. I was unable to wear the glasses.
With the prescription my eye was blurry. When I tried to work with the associates about a refund. They refuse to even listen. They were very rude and sarcastic.
What basically came down to was too bad my loss. I Don't think they even listen to what I had to say.
I think part of it was racism.

I went for eyeglasses the service woman did not move from her chair to help us , she was shouting in bad minor , did not answer most of our questions and made us standing by the front desk while she is sitting , we asked about deals going on , she said such and such store has better selection and deal , go there

Was there the Labor Day weekend on line it said they close at 5 I was there before 4 and she was closing already was very rude and didnt even want to help I will never recommend that place it was the lady with white hair

Closed during listed hours of operation.
Never able to speak to an employee in the optical department during business hours, always rolls to voice mail.
Has been close to 3 weeks since i ordered my glasses with no followup by the department.
Arrived Saturday at 11:30 during business hours and the department was closed.
Have been a customer for years. This is shameful.

Two erkes ago I received my eye glasses (2 pair). I had order the lightest glasses.
The day I start wearing the new glasses I had an strong headache, also pain in the nose for the pressure and it last 3 days. I had to go to my doctor because the pain and I had to rest in bed. I went to JCP in Plaza las Américas in San Juan to change the glasses,not the frases, since I have a month according to the garanty. The mannager is never available and the other employs are telling me that the glasses cant be change.
That I have to buy 2 complete pair of glasses, and pay for then, because my insurance dont cover the change of glasses.
I have been a JCP Optical custumer for more than 40 years.
I hope your office can help me solve this problem. On Saturday I have an appoinmet with the mannager, I dont even know his name, but I hope I dont have to take other actions.

Misinformed information
I was reassured my $400.00 2 pairs glasses would be covered by my insurance . Unfortunately i was denied and after calling store the representative told me she never said that.
I was ignored and given no help.
I will never purchase from your store again. d
